Shoop's Deli Opens in West Hollywood

Shoop's European Deli has further expanded into Weho, opening a dine-in delicatessen on Hayworth Avenue just north of Santa Monica Boulevard.

The restaurant opened Jan. 5 and offers a very similar menu to Shoop's flagship location in Santa Monica, which has been a Main Street fixture for more than a decade. Shoop's has had a to-go operation at the Hayworth Avenue spot for the last couple of years.

"It's a good litte area, even though it's the big city I get a neighnorhood feeling," Shoop's co-owner Lana said about the new Weho location. "And like our Santa Monica location it can really be a neighborhood hang-out."

Breakfast and sandwich specialties abound, as do coffee and tea selections, and Shoop's will soon expand its selection of fresh baked goods.

Outdoor dining is available on the restaurant's heated patio. The restaurant was formerly a single-family home that the Shoop's staff converted into the dine-in deli.
