We first reported back in December via Eater LA that Weho's longtime restaurant Irv's Burgers may have found a new home at 7998 Santa Monica Blvd., the former home of Biscuit Cafe. According to Route66news.com the rumor was true and Irv's is now selling burgers again at the location, which is about five blocks away from the original spot.

I felt bad for the way they were treated by the city, but in the end glad it worked out. I haven't been in the new location but it looks nice. Unfortunately keeping historical places open or designated hasn't been going so well. Just happy they didn't lose their business but I'm sure it was not a great ordeal to have.

Your city seems to have NO respect for historic places at all. Pity the Wong's had to move, but I too hope it works for them.

It isn't the same as the ole place on the corner of Sweetzer & Santa Monica. The new location has had businesses in and out of it. Nothing ever lasts. West Hollywood council members are awful people!
