Every Wednesday night starting September 26, Francophone and Francophile alike will celebrate the “Sunset Rendez-Vous” at Clafoutis! and pamper their taste buds on new Chef Jean-Christophe's fine French cuisine.
Each week, Chef Jean- Christophe will concoct a special Menu du Chef -- appetizer, entrée, dessert -- for a mere $30! In order to make these "Sunset Rendez-Vous" even more French, Le Clafoutis' owner, Franck Margerie, will offer a 50% discount on bottles of wine that night and/or 2 glasses of wine for the price of one. C'est formidable!
Entertainment: The "Sunset Rendez-Vous” will showcase multi-talented vocalists and/or musicians who will entertain patrons with a repertoire of French songs as well as American classics.
Jenny Eloise Rieu, ‘The Lady in Red,’ will open the show on Wednesday September 26. A French ‘vintage singer’ as she calls herself, Jenny will take attendees on journey to a time and place of old world elegance and glamor with a repertoire of jazz standards and French songs. Jenny started out as an Opera singer at age 13, then worked extensively in film, television, theater and music projects internationally. She’s also a graduate from the prestigious the American Academy of Dramatic Arts of New York.

Le Clafoutis Restaurant: Le Clafoutis is located on Sunset Plaza, 8630 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood. Le Clafoutis has been serving French food in this part of the city for the past 21 years. Chef Jean-Christophe has recently 'revamped' the menu and uses only the freshest and finest ingredients to create his signature dishes such as the French Escargots with a Pastis Twist, the Moules Marinieres (mussels with a white wine & shallots cream sauce), or the Onglet Steak and its Cabernet Sauce.
Breads and pastries are also baked fresh daily. Profiterolles, Crème Brulée, Napoleon and the restaurant’s signature dessert Tarte Tropézienne are pure French delights.
