Lucques' Sunday Night Supper
Where else can you get a three course meal at one of the country's top restaurants for only $45 a person? Chef Suzanne Goin was recently nominated for the James Beard Award for Outstanding Chef, which is the equivalent to a movie being nominated for the Oscar for Best Picture. Lucques is her flagship West Hollywood restaurant (she also owns A.O.C., Tavern, and with her husband, Hungry Cat), where they are famous for their seasonal Sunday Night Suppers (there's even a cookbook).
This week's menu includes an arugula salad with citrus and mint, a choice of market fish butternut squash purée or grilled country-style pork chops with crispy potatoes, and a decedent dessert course of churros and chocolate. Click here for the menu. Call 323-655-6277 to make a reservation.
Do "swimming-pool sized" martinis, succulent snacks like Mac N' Cheese mini cups, and a room full of eligible singles sound like your idea of a good time? Then buy a ticket and hop on over to on Sunday from 7-10 p.m. for the Martini Party hosted by Singular City, the social networking website for professional men and women living in Los Angeles. Tickets are $25. Click here for details and purchasing.
