7-Eleven Day Means Free Slurpees for All
The convenience store will celebrate its 7-11 birthday Thursday by giving away its signature frozen drinks for free.

7-Eleven Day is Thursday and that means one thing—free Slurpees for everyone!
The convenience store chain is celebrating its birthday as it does every year, by giving away one free 7.11-ounce Slurpee to each customer who asks anytime between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
"7-Eleven Day has become so popular that people mark it as a recurring event on their calendars," said Stefanie Olson, 7-Eleven category manager for Slurpee and Big Gulp beverages, in a press release on the company's website.
Media relations for 7-Eleven told Patch most of their 8,000 franchises participate in Slurpee Day, but participation is at the franchisee's discretion.
If you've got your heart set on a free icy drink, don't wait too long to stop by; the offer is good only as long as supplies last.
