The Abbey Kicks off Holiday Season with 2nd Annual Tree Lighting [Photos]

The event, held on World AIDS Day, features a 25-foot tree, snow and a performance from the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles.

As the sun on World AIDS Day, The Abbey continued to commemorate the day of observance over Bevedere (RED) cocktails and holiday tunes at their 2nd annual .

From 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday, guests snuggled up beside a sexy Santa and some dancing elves as the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles rang in the season through song.

With every purchase of a Belvedere (RED) bottle, 50 percent of the profits were donated to the Global Fund to fight HIV/Aids in Africa. David Cooley, owner of the Abbey, delivered a speech to welcome guests on this special night, and to recognize World AIDS Day.
