“We are honored to co-sponsor the American Cancer Society’s ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’ community walk, taking place for the first time in West Hollywood,” said Mayor Pro Tem Abbe Land. “With local residents and business owners helping to lead the volunteer planning committee, we are looking forward to a truly great event to raise funds for breast cancer support services and programs, as well as to honor and support breast cancer survivors.”

“We need to do everything we can to support those who are battling breast cancer and we need to support the doctors, scientists and organizations working to improve treatment and find a cure,” said Councilmember John Heilman. “I'm glad we are co-sponsoring this great event.”
