The perfumer will be discussing and signing his new book, Frédéric Malle on Perfume Making. In this luxury volume, Malle describes the process of creating a fragrance and collaborating with these great perfumiers. The author event is set for 6 p.m.

City Meeting: Public Facilities Commission Meeting

The Commission will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Conference Room at . Unfinished business includes an update on Arts and Cultural Affairs programs by Andrew Campbell and 1343 Laurel Ave., according to the agenda.

Brent Mendoza's Pick: Desert Nights

Spend an evening sipping cocktails and enjoying the acoustic sounds of Jesse Tyre Karp and fellow singer/songwriters Ryan Eggold and Justin Hopkins at the this evening. Entertainment in the Cactus Lounge begins at 7:30 p.m. and as always, entrance is free.

Don't Miss: AAA Member Appreciation Days

The Automobile Club of Southern California’s West Hollywood branch located at 8761 Santa Monica Blvd. is hosting “Member Appreciation Days” between noon and 4 p.m. Those who join the Auto Club during the event will receive $10 off their first year’s membership, according to the event description.

The National Weather Service predicts cloudy, then gradually mostly sunny weather. Temperatures in West Hollywood are expected to reach near 72, dropping to a low around 54.
