Tuesday's Scoop: Jennifer Garner, Mike O'Malley and More at 2nd Annual FOWHE Benefit

One-hundred percent of the show's proceeds go toward arts programs at West Hollywood Elementary School.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Tuesday in West Hollywood:

Main Event:

The second annual event at the to benefit arts at features a star-studded evening of comedy and song, with the likes of Jennifer Garner, Rob Morrow (Northern Exposure), Mike O'Malley (Glee), Rachel Harris (The Hangover), News Radio's Vicki Lewis, and FOWHE's very own MADtv writer Guy Stevenson, actresses Rachel Quaintance (Entourage, The Middle) and Jean Louisa Kelly (Yes Dear, Mr Holland's Opus). Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $75, with all proceeds going toward the school.

Runner Up: West Hollywood Library Artists Reception

The City of West Hollywood through its Arts & Cultural Affairs Commission is celebrating West Hollywood Library artists Shepard Fairey, David Wiseman and RETNA (Marquis Lewis) in City Council Chambers with a pre-reception at 6 p.m., followed by a discussion with KCRW’s Frances Anderton beginning promptly at 8 p.m. Paid parking is available in the West Hollywood Park parking structure. Tickets are $35, with proceeds benefitting art and culture programming at the library.

The Forecast:

  • The National Weather Service predicts patchy fog before 11 a.m., otherwise sunny, with a high near 82. Another wave of fog is expected to travel through town this evening. West Hollywood will see increasing clouds and a low around 59.
