Shows in Weho This Week: The Raveonettes, Dredg and 2011 Uranium Tour

What to see and hear around West Hollywood between May 2 and 8.

A variety of music is rolling through West Hollywood for the week of May 2 - 8.

Those looking for an evening filled with inspiring lyrics and acoustic guitar should start their week off at Genghis Cohen's BMI Acoustic Lounge, taking place on Monday. Heavy metal fans should make their way to the on Friday for the 2011 Uranium Tour, featuring Zakk Wylde and the Black Label Society, All That Remains, and Hourcast.

Danish indie duo, The Raveonettes, are performing two back-to-back dates at on Thursday and Friday, while Northern California’s favorite rockers, Dredg, head to for their own double header on Tuesday and Wednesday. And on Thursday, Metalachi, the world’s first and only heavy metal mariachi band, will perform their unique take on songs by the likes of Ozzy Osborne and Metallica.
