Shows in Weho This Week: Dita Von Teese, Zach Galifanakis and Skee-lo

What to see and hear around West Hollywood May 16 - 22.

Heading out for an evening of live music in West Hollywood is always an exciting experience. Hear about Prince popping into  last week to play to an intimate crowd? If you are still mourning the fact that you missed out on that opportunity, this week’s concert calendar provides plenty of new chances.

Just in time to put you in the spirit for the upcoming release of The Hangover II, comedian Zach Galifanakis will be performing, along with special guests, at on Monday evening. The show is a benefit for The Littlest Tumor Foundation. 

LA's favorite burlesque artist, Dita Von Teese, will entertain crowds at with a 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. show on Tuesday and Wednesday (mature audiences only). Catch three nights in a row of Citizen Cope at The Troubador, starting Thursday.

Remember that catchy song “I Wish” from the ‘90s? The lovable rapper and ex MTV V.J. Skee-lo will take the stage at the on Friday along with S.O.S. and Dr. Hollywood. 

Fans of Morrissey should head to the  on Sunday to join in the festivities of his “52nd Unhappy Birthday Celebration,” featuring Smiths/Morrissey tribute band, Sweet and Tender Hooligans.
