Weho Library Hosts Surprise Performance of 'Fahrenheit 451' [VIDEO]

Actors perform a scene from the stage play version of Ray Bradbury's classic novel for an unsuspecting audience.

Visitors to West Hollywood Library were given a special show Saturday afternoon.

The Unbound Productions team presented a flash performance inside the library, featuring a scene from Ray Bradbury's theatrical adaptation of his classic novel Fahrenheit 451, which depicts a future world where books are forbidden.

The performance was produced in conjunction with an announcement about the City of West Hollywood's participation in . Throughout April 2012, the city of West Hollywood has planned a series of special events and book discussions for the National Endowment for the Arts initiative to build community and expanding literacy through the arts.

The performance will be broadcast duing Monday's West Hollywood City Council meeting and streamed live on local TV.
