One City One Pride Events Keep June Busy

Many LGBT related events are planned throughout the month of June as part of the One City/One Pride program series, including plays, concerts, comedy shows, art displays and more.

Comedy shows, concerts, plays, art exhibits, awards presentations and more are all planned during the month of June as West Hollywood celebrates Gay Pride Month.

The major event of the month is the annual gay pride parade and festival, organized by Christopher Street West, held June 8-10.

But there are many other events planned celebrating the LGBT experience. These events are coordinated under the city’s One City/One Pride program.

“Throughout the month there will be a variety of free cultural and arts activities supported by the city, plus a whole slew of related programming – some ticketed, some free – by other community and arts organizations within or affiliated with the city,” said Andrew Campbell, the city’s Arts and Cultural Affairs Administrator. “We hope people will visit West Hollywood this June and participate in some of the wonderful art and events taking place here.”

This weekend offers plenty of events to choose from.
