Gay Rapper Solomon to Play Key Club
Openly gay singer/songwriter/rap artist Solomon plays the Key Club on July 13, opening for rocker Ryan Cabrera.
Gay rapper Solomon brings his wit and showmanship to West Hollywood next month.
The man behind the club anthem “Wit Us U Can’t” will open for rocker Ryan Cabrera on Friday, July 13 at the on the Sunset Strip. General admission tickets at $15.
Born Solomon Barnett, the 25-year-old homo-hop artist started generating internet buzz in thanks to two street mixtapes what sold more than 10,000 copies. That buzz landed him an invitation to appear on Eminem’s Sirius Satellite Radio Shade45 morning show, one of the first gay rappers ever to appear on that radio station.

His first EP, “Shades of Black” was released in 2009 to good reviews. In 2011, he released his second EP, “The Love Rocker Project” which contained the single “Wit Us U Can’t.” The video for that song debuted on LOGO. His latest single is “Life Goes On . . .”
