Friday's Scoop: Atari Teenage Riot's Music and Mayhem Coming to the Key Club

Berlin's politically charged techno group makes a stop along the Sunset Strip as part of its U.S. tour.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Friday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Atari Teenage Riot

On the heels of a fourth studio album, Is This Hyperreal?, after a decade-long hiatus, ATR is rocking West Hollywood. Joining the Berlin techno trio tonight at the will be Retox, Otto Von Schirach and The Red Paintings. Tickets are $15-$18. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.

  • Fall athletic programs at and high schools kicked off this week. A Fairfax freshman/sophomore football game is set for 4 p.m. at Harvard-Westlake, with varsity playing at 7 p.m. Pacific Hills girls varsity volleyball plays at L.A. Price at 4:15 p.m.

The Forecast:

  • The National Weather Service predicts a sunny day, with a high near 85. Friday night will be partly cloudy, with calm wind and a low around 66.
