West Hollywood Area Artists Happy Hour

West Hollywood Area Artists Happy Hour—This coterie of artists, gallerists and curators meet monthly to socialize, network and hear from a person of interest in the arts community during “15 Minutes with…”

Beginning the 2011 series is April Anson Dammann, a writer for television, radio, motion pictures and theatre.  She has recently completed a new book, Exhibitionist, Art Dealer as  Impresario, about the fascinating career of art dealer Earl Stendahl, who opened his Stendahl Galleries in Los Angeles in 1911.

In February hear from York Chang,  renowned artist and president of the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Commission. In March learn from Julie Deamer, director of the Harpo Foundation and creator and director of Outpost for  Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and 4 Walls in San Francisco, and in April welcome Liza Simone, executive director of Phantom Galleries L.A. and Long Beach.
