Miranda Lee Richards
The daughter of two cartoonists, miranda lee richards grew up in San Francisco amongst the underground comics revolution and the likes of r. crumb. She got her early professional start in the brian jonestown massacre, and subsequently appeared in the seminal documentary, dig!. The sound of her music doesn't give much hint to her background, however – she sings beautiful atmospheric melodies that may be more polished than her roots. The subject matter, while not r or x-rated, is no less provocative.

Henry Wolfe
Henry Wolfe is a songwriter and singer living in Los Angeles. He writes good, old-fashioned songs that bring to mind the mid-70's heyday of Paul Simon, Randy Newman, Paul McCartney and Harry Nilsson, emphasizing quality and taste over novelty and experimentation. Yet while his music sounds familiar, his voice is his uniquely his own and it is anything but ordinary. Whether performing solo on his hollow-body electric guitar, or accompanied by a backing band, Henry Wolfe swings and stomps, moans and whispers. His music is alternately jazzy and twangy, funky and soulful, channeling the best of the past for an audience of the present.

El May
After much time spent as a peripheral member of many stellar acts like Luna, Ben Lee, Crooked Fingers, Britta and Dean, etc. Lara Meyerratken fronts her own band, El May.
The Perth-born, Sydney-raised multi-instrumentalist recently returned to the stage in her native Australia opening for some brilliant acts including Feist, Explosions in the Sky and The Brunettes.
Her indelible sense of harmony made a big noise (quietly) as the secret weapon on Ben Lee's Awake Is the New Sleep. Independent film lovers will recognize her song "Hero" as the one sung by Michelle Williams in "The Baxter."
