ACIDIC Joins Benvenue, The Shrill, Emily's Army and Warner Drive at The Roxy

Los Angeles alternative rock band ACIDIC, currently on tour with Alien Ant Farm, returns to Los Angeles to perform at The Roxy on Friday, October 7th. ACIDIC will take the stage along with The Shrill, Benvenue, Emily’s Army and Warner Drive. The show is open to all ages, however, those under 21 must purchase a $3 food/drink coupon at the door. Tickets can be purchased by calling 310-278-9457, online at theroxyonsunset.com or at the venue the day of the event. Doors open at 7:15 pm and ACIDIC will perform at 9 pm.

ACIDIC, which consists of lead singer and guitarist Michael Gossard, bassist Ted Dubrawski and drummer Matt Whitaker, released their third full-length album “Chronic Satisfaction”  on September 20th, 2011. The album is produced by John Ryan, who has produced for legendary artists such as Santana, Styx and Lynyrd Skynyrd.  PureGrainAudio said the cut “Uninspired” is “a well-written and well performed ode to nostalgia …with a chorus that will keep you humming all day long.” ArtistsOnDemand said ‘Chronic Satisfaction’ is jammed packed with tunes that are sure to make any fan, or new listener, want more.”

ACIDIC recently performed at the Sunset Strip Music Festival and will embark on a nationwide tour with Warner Drive this coming November.  In January, they performed in Germany and Kosovo as part of an Armed Forces Entertainment Tour, and  they have previously toured with Marcy Playground, Hawthorne Heights and The Higher.
