"What Does Sobriety Look Like to You?"
That is the theme of the City of West Hollywood's ongoing photo contest, which is being held in preparation of a substance use prevention and education program that will kick off within the city in early 2013.
The city is asking participants to take a photograph that in their eyes, defines sobriety, whether in the form of exercise, meditation, public service, or another activity.
The deadline to submit photos is 5 p.m. on Friday, November 30.
A committee from the city HIV and Substance Use Providers Consortium will choose the top three submitted photos and an online vote will be held Monday, December 10 through Friday, December 21.
The winner of the contest will receive a new digital camera, a healthy living gift basket, and a framed version of their winning photo.
The entry form and official rules can be found here.
