5 Things to Do This Weekend in Weho

Party for a cure with DJs Taryn Manning and Jeremy Dawson of Shiny Toy Guns, take a meditation class or attend a book signing.

Still have no idea what to do this weekend? Don't panic. Patch is coming to the rescue. Check out our pick-and-choose planner for this Friday through Sunday in West Hollywood. 

1. Party for the Cure

  • Where/When: , 8430 W. Sunset Blvd. Friday, doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m.
  • Why Go: Voda Spa presents Party for the Cure with DJ Taryn Manning and DJ Jeremy Dawson of Shiny Toy Guns. Both DJs will spin live music for everyone to enjoy. All proceeds will go toward Breast Cancer research and benefit non-profit youth mentoring. There will be a pink carpet at the entrance and comedian Lliza Shlesinge will be doing a live performance in the Foundation Room. This is a great event full of live, electric music and comedy, while benefiting an important cause. 
  • Cost: $35 pre-sale and $40 at the door. 

2. Which One's Pink?

  • Why Go: The Pink Floyd cover band will be performing Pink Floyd's songs from the album, The Wall, in its entirety. This show is perfect for classic rock fans, especially Pink Floyd fans, to enjoy amazing classic rock era music. 
  • Cost: $20 pre-sale and $23.50 at the door.

  • Where/When: , 9081 Santa Monica Blvd. Saturday, doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m. 
  • Why Go: If you are in the mood for pure rock, then and ThatWasThen is the perfect concert to attend. This is a great live rock show for everyone to enjoy. RSVP to THEHUSH@verizon.net before July 7 for free tickets.
  • Cost: $12

  • Why Go: It is always good to take some time and relax, so why not join this great meditation class for a clear mind and kind heart. This is a weekly Sunday class and anyone can join at any time without registration. 
  • Cost: $10 per class.

  • Where/When: , 8818 W Sunset Blvd. Sunday at 4 p.m.
  • Why Go: Megan Abbott will hold a lecture on her book The End of Everything. The story is about two young best friends; one who goes missing, the other pursuing the truth. This is a great event for book lovers.
  • Cost: Free. Book cost $23.99
