The fifth annual Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) may be two weeks away, but festivities leading up to the event got underway Friday night with the
Hornburg on the Sunset Strip, a Jaguar and Land Rover showroom, was the setting for the Gibson Guitartown II. The event featured Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan, best know for his mid 1960s hits “Wear Your Love Like Heaven,” “Sunshine Superman,” “Mellow Yellow,” “Hurdy Gurdy Man” and others, on hand to autograph a guitar dedicated to him.
