Whole Foods Collects Cash, Food for LGBT Seniors

Holiday shoppers can make donations at the market to support
seniors who depend on the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center.

The Whole Foods Market in West Hollywood is conducting its Grab & Give promotion that supports the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's senior services.

Shoppers can donate cash, such as their change from the check-out counter, or purchase these packaged items for seniors: breakfast or toiletry bags ($5), lunch or dinner ($10) or meals for a day ($25).

"The Grab & Give campaign is a wonderful, convenient way to help seniors who have turned to the center for support," Kathleen Sullivan, director of seniors services at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, said in a statement. "We’re grateful to Whole Foods Market West Hollywood for giving to LGBT seniors in the spirit of the season."
