Wednesday's Scoop: 'Pacific Standard Time' Contributors to Connect with Weho Arts Community

A coterie of artists, gallerists and curators meet monthly to socialize, network and host a "15 Minutes with…" speaker series.

Main Event: 15 minutes with ...

City News Service reports Leila Hamidi, one of many artists taking part in the collaboration of more than 60 cultural institutions in Southern California, will speak at the West Hollywood Area Artists' talk series. The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. at on La Cienega Boulevard.

Other Happenings:

  • A Public Facilities Commission Meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. in the . The commission will receive a report on the Greening West Hollywood Program, as well as an update on the Hart Park off-leash dog area, a community garden program, and the Heritage Tree Program.
  • Canadian hard rockers Danko Jones joins Fireball Ministry, Goldsboro, Kemble Walters & the Black Faces, DJ High Voltage at the . Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $13.50.
