Wednesday's Scoop: Legendary Bingo to Benefit The Tweakers Project

All proceeds will benefit the meth outreach organization that offers options for people in need of recovery.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Wednesday in West Hollywood:

Main Events:

  • Hamburger Mary's is dedicating Wednesday's to the anti-meth group, The Tweakers Project. The event taking place from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. features 10 rounds of bingo with prizes from The Pleasure Chest, Power Zone, ChiChi LaRue, Starbucks and more. Suggested donation is $20.
  • The City of West Hollywood’s Bicycle Task Force will be screening a portion of the film, Moving Beyond the Automobile, a 10-part video series that explores solutions to the problem of automobile dependency, along with a panel discussion, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Community Room of the new West Hollywood Library.

City Meeting:

  • The city's Transgender Advisory Board is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Community Conference Room. The agenda includes a subcommittee about bullying, calendar of transgender special events, and a debrief on the Day of Remembrance debrief.
