Main Event: U.S. Postal Service to Announce Closures

When was the last time you set foot in a ? The independent postal agency has been forced to downsize at a massive scale and will have to close more than 3,600 post office nationwide, said officials. The targeted offices will be mostly in rural areas, although the final list will be made available Tuesday.

• Tuesday night, the Indigo Girls are bringing a night of American folk to the . Get your tickets early as this is set to sell out. Show starts at 7 p.m.
• Southern California Edison has scheduled a to replace a faulty transformer in the underground vault at 8462 Sunset Blvd., beginning at 10 p.m. There will be a traffic control set up eastbound between La Cienega Boulevard and Olive Drive. One lane of eastbound traffic will be blocked.

The Forecast:

• West Hollywood will see sunny skies, with a high near 84 and a low around 59, reports the National Weather Service. South southwest wind around 5 miles per hour will become east southeast.
