Tuesday's Scoop: Punk Rock’s 'Monster Squad' Misfits Coming to the House of Blues

The 30-year-old band is bringing horror punk to the Sunset Strip tonight.

Main Event: The Misfits Live

With a name taken from Marilyn Monroe's final movie, The Misfits are bringing their supernatural, 1950’s rock and roll inspired music to the . Generations of “Fiends” (as their fans are known) will likely be hitting the Strip. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 day of show.

Other Happenings:

  • Alan Watt discusses and signs The 90-Day Novel: Unlock the Story Within 7 p.m. at Book Soup. The book is a "day-by-day guide through the process of getting the first draft of your novel onto the page," according to the author event description. Watt allegedly wrote the first draft of his novel Diamond Dogs, which is soon to be a major motion picture, in under 90 days.
