The Weho Chamber of Commerce event will feature 40 companies recruiting.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Tuesday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Job and Career Development Fair

The West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Job and Career Development fair with more than 40 companies seeking to recruit the finest talent that West Hollywood has to offer. Workshops and speakers will offer inside tips and secrets to making it in today's marketplace. The Job Fair is in Fiesta Hall in from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  •  is said to help with anxiety and daily stress because of its healing energy. , 607 Huntley Drive, offers the free meditation session at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Country rock singer/songwriter Steve Earle comes to the with his band The Dukes (and Duchess) featuring Allison Moorer, Earle’s wife. Showtime is at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $35, general admission.  
  • Learn more about Bob Marley, the most successful reggae artist ever, as author Chris Salewicz discusses and signs his book, Bob Marley: The Untold Story, at  at 7 p.m. The book costs $16.
