The Comedy Central host will present and sign copies of his new book, This is a Book, which was released on April 25, and consists of Martin's essays, musings and drawings. Part of the comic's 10 city “Big Book Tour," the in-store Weho event begins at 7 p.m. You can purchase the book for $24.99 on Book Soup's website.

Fresh Corn Grill Seeks Permit to Serve Alcohol

The healthy comfort food restaurant's second location at 8714 Santa Monica Blvd., which opened last month, is requesting a minor conditional use permit for consumption of alcohol as an accessory use at the existing restaurant. LA County Public Health Division to Release Report

West Hollywood's Human Services Commission will received a report from the County Office of Substance Abuse Prevention and Control, a division of the LA County Department of Public Health, at its 6 p.m. meeting at City Hall.
