Tuesday's Scoop: Burger Lounge Seeks to Expand Outdoor Dining, Extend Hours
Continued from Nov. 8, staff will hear the new eatery's request for extended business hours, consistent with other similar type restaurants in the area.

Main Event: Community Development Hearing for Burger Lounge
The restaurant located in the Sunset Collection at 8539 Sunset Blvd. is requesting a minor conditional use permit to expand its existing outdoor seating area and hours of operation. According to applicant Terri Dickerhoff, "the business model represents the bridge between bloated corporate fast food culture and the less is more, quality is everything approach." Staff supports Burger Lounge’s request to allow the sales, service, and consumption of beer and wine in the existing restaurant space and expanded outdoor dining area, according to the report.
