Thursday's Scoop: US Air Guitar Championships Hits the Strip
The Key Club hosts two rounds of the regional competition.
Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Thursday in West Hollywood:
Main Event:
Sunset Live presents the regional competition at the . Contestants are directed to perform in two rounds, playing one minute of a song on an "invisible guitar," and will be judged on a combination of technical merit, stage presence, and “airness." Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Contestants must be 18 and over, and arrive by 6:30 p.m. to compete. General admission is $16.

City Meetings:
- The Planning Commission Design Review Subcommittee meets at 5:30 p.m. in Room 5 of to hear project proposals for 1232 – 1236 N. Kings Rd. and 8809 Santa Monica Blvd. (). View the agenda here.
