Based on the president's previous visits, expect severe traffic conditions.

Presidential Visit to West LA

President Obama is scheduled to visit California for a two-day spree—a trip to Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto on Wednesday and a visit to Sony Pictures Studios in , followed by  at the Tavern on San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood, on Thursday. Major avenues of travel, including the 10 and 405 freeways, Overland Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard, may be impacted. 

Urban Arts Subcommittee

The subcommittee meets at 5 p.m. in the Community Conference Room of to receive a presentation for the Urban Art Project, Lofts on Croft, at 612-616 Croft Ave., as well as the design concept for the civic art project. Click here for the agenda.

Planning Commission

The Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. in the  to hold public hearings for several local businesses.  is requesting to construct a v-shaped billboard sign at 8462 Sunset Blvd.  is requesting to install a new two-sided billboard atop its existing commercial building. The city of West Hollywood is also looking to amend a zoning ordinance in order to establish a conditional-use permit requirement for new and existing banquet facilities in residential zones. is hosting a free stand-up comedy show from 7-10 p.m. on behalf of Penny Lane Family Centers to promote foster and adoptive parenting in the LGBTQ community. "Arms Wide Open" will feature an all-star lineup, including comedians Dana Gould, Erin Foley, Mark Davis and Nico Santos. Weho City Councilwoman Abbe Land will also be presenting Penny Lane Family Centers with a certificate of appreciation for its work.

Imagine...Through the Eyes of a Child

and the West Hollywood Arts and Culture Commission will unveil an "eco-art" installation at 6:30 p.m. by environmental artist Tom Deininger, who created artwork from tossed out toys and unrecyclable plastics. Curated by Creative Voltage, Imagine...Through the Eyes of a Child will take place at 1128 N. Orange Grove Ave.

Weho Weather

The National Weather Service predicts a chance of drizzle before 11 a.m., with patchy fog and clouds. West Hollywood will reach a high near 67, with a low around 53.
