Thursday's Scoop: Maroon 5, NFL Items up for Auction at 'Bow Wow Bash'
One hundred percent of all money raised will go to saving the homeless animals of Los Angeles.
Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Thursday in West Hollywood:
Main Event: Bow Wow Bash
A Dog's Life Rescue, which is a not-for-profit, all volunteer, no-kill organization, is holding a silent auction, with items donated by Maroon 5, Fender, Sephora, Dominick's, Frederick's of Hollywood, , to name a few. The event will be held at Tailwaggers (801 N. Fairfax Blvd.) from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Drinks and snacks are provided by Veggie Grill and JAM Bakery.

Runner-Up: L.A. Music Awards
The L.A. Music Awards are taking over the tonight. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs $15. Performers include Fii, Marirose, Angel Smythe, Brian Lawrence, Sabastian Roberts, Jon Magnificent, Elyse Simpson, Stepkanie Kl and Jason Esler. Attendees are invited to help select the winners out of 10,000 submissions, 30 categories and 150 nominations at 7:15 p.m.

- A Children’s Round Table Meeting is taking place in from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. According to the event listing on the city's website, "a group of educators and representatives from local non profit organizations, law enforcement agencies and various County government agencies will meet to discuss programs and services for children and youth." - The National Weather Service predicts a sunny day with mostly clear skies. West Hollywood will see a high near 88. The low will be around 65.
