The city's Arts & Cultural Affairs Commission hosts free entertainment in two of Weho's parks.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Sunday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Summer Sounds Concert Series

The city's Arts & Cultural Affairs Commission presents "Beautiful People," a concert of modern pop and jazz standards, at at 4 p.m. Catte Adams, a singer-songwriter who was the female vocalist champion during season two of Star Search in 1983-84, will be the featured performer. Admission is free.

Runner-Up: As You Like It at Plummer Park

Classical Theatre Lab presents Shakespeare's classic in the this afternoon. Admission is free. Limited seating available. Reservations are recommended. To RSVP and for more information, call 323-960-5691.

Other Happenings:

  • In his first solo exhibition in Los Angeles, graffiti artist COPE2 brings Authentic to the Maximillian Gallery at . The exhibition will continue through Aug. 17 and is open 1-8 p.m. by appointment.
  • The acclaimed Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles closes its 2010-11 season with , featuring guest conductor Andres Cladera. Sunday's show times are 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Avalon Hollywood. Tickets are $15-$55.

  • West Hollywood will see patchy fog before 11 a.m., gradually clearing through the day. The National Weather Service predicts a high of 83 and a low around 63.
