Sunday's Scoop: Big Book Sale at the Mazer

Attendees will get first pick at the archive's collection of lesbian and feminist books before they go to the Mazer table at the West Hollywood Book Fair.

Main Event: Mazer Lesbian Archives September Fundraiser Event

The June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives, the largest major repository of its kind on the West Coast located at 626 N. Robertson Blvd., is holding a big book sale today from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in its new upstairs Lesbian Lounge. Parking meters are free on Sunday and one hour free parking is available in the new Library structure just past the Mazer door on El Tovar.

Also Today: 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards

Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Lynch will host the awards, airing live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles at 5 p.m. on FOX. Locally, there are a number of private soirees—the HBO Post-Awards Reception at the , a Fox Broadcasting, 20th Century Fox TV and FX party at , and Jimmy Fallon’s Emmy After Party at Trousdale.

The National Weather Service predicts a sunny Sunday in West Hollywood, with a high near 88 and a low around 62. Weho can expect clear skies and north northwest wind 5 to 10 miles per hour becoming southwest.
