Sunday's Scoop: AHF to Remember AIDS with Candlelight Vigil in Weho

The event will pay tribute to people lost to the disease and will feature a performance by singer Sam Harris.

Main Event: Remember AIDS Candlelight Vigil & March

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation expects hundreds of participants to gather Sunday evening in West Hollywood for its candlelight vigil and march on the 30th anniversary of the first official AIDS diagnosis. Participants are asked to meet at Matthew Shepard Memorial Park (at Santa Monica and Crescent Heights) at 7 p.m. (march is set for 8 p.m.), and arrive at for a program starting around 9 p.m. Learn more .

  • The National Weather Service predicts a cloudy Sunday, with 30 percent chance of showers, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 68 and a low around 58. Winds could gust as high as 15 miles per hour.
