Saturday's Scoop: The Abbey to Auction Off Bartenders for a Cause

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Saturday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Bartender Auction

As part of its weekend-long Labor Day festivities,  is hosting its 8th Annual Bartender Auction from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. The biggest bidders will win a date with West Hollywood's hottest bartenders to the fall fashion benefit event, Macy's Glamorama LA. The rest of the weekend will see ’s Tea Dance DJ, Moto Blanco, along with four days of music, and firefighter go-go dancers, according to the complete . 

Other Happenings: 

• The Taste continues today. Saturday's schedule includes Secrets from the Kitchen & Cellar from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. in Beverly Hills and Taco Tequila Tryst from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Hollywood. Purchase tickets here. 

• The  presents a , featuring Nikki Lorenzo, Jagged Row, Lindy LaFontaine, and Halocene, at 7 p.m. Contact the Whisky for times and tickets.

The Forecast:

• The National Weather Service predicts a mostly sunny Saturday. West Hollywood will reach a high near 94, with calm wind and clear skies by the evening. Temperatures will drop to around 60.
