Saturday's Scoop: 'Structures & Style' Offers Big-Ticket Tour of Weho Style

The annual event gives guests a sneak-peak at the latest in fashion and architecture around town.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Saturday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Structures & Style 2011

The third annual event offers an exclusive guided walking and shuttle tour of the city's top retailers, including , , , , and Roseark. At $185 per ticket, attendees are promised a behind-the-scenes look at the latest design and architecture concepts in Weho, ending with a reception hosted by  restaurant at the . All proceeds from ticket sales for Structures & Style 2011 go to benefit the West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation.

Runner-Up: Lomography Scavenger Hunt

Teams of two to four are invited to partake in the store's Hidden LA Instant Photo Scavenger Hunt from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Cost of $10 per participant includes a loaner camera and instant film. All attendees will receive a 10 percent off coupon to use at the . Other Happenings:

  • Starting at 10 a.m., Fairfax Library is having a . Browse through used books and other materials at great bargain prices. The event is free.
  • Sunset Live presents the hip-hop group  at the  at 7 p.m. The live show will also feature performances by Kingspade, D LOC, Johnny Richter, The Dirtball and DJ spins with Dj Bobby B. Tickets are $20
  •  is hosting a  at 9 p.m. Fourteen great comics will be headlining in the Main Room, including Ahmed Ahmed, Al Madrigal and Sarah Tiana. Tickets cost $20.

The Forecast:

  • Saturday will be mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 100, reports the National Weather Service. West Hollywood will see calm wind and partly cloudy skies by the evening, with temperatures dropping to around 58.
