Saturday's Scoop: DUI Checkpoint at La Cienega Boulevard Tonight

Officers will check motorists for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, as well as proper licensing.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Saturday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: DUI Checkpoint

City News Service reports that Los Angeles Police Department officers will staff two sobriety/drivers license checkpoints this weekend—one in West Hollywood. From 8 p.m. Saturday until 2 a.m. Sunday, officers will run a checkpoint at La Cienega Boulevard between Rosewood and Oakwood avenues, checking motorists for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, as well as proper licensing.

With the Sunset Strip Music Festival less than one month away, the is paying tribute to SSMF headliners Mötley Crüe. Rock out with “rock dot” tribute bands with big hair and great hits. This show is for all ages.
