Saturday's Scoop: City to Host Low Cost Pet Vaccination Clinic

The event is taking place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot at City Hall.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Saturday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Low Cost Pet Vaccination Clinic

The city is teaming up with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals LA to offer low cost rabies vaccinations ($5) and microchipping ($25) for cats and dogs, as well as DHPP, FVRCP, Leukemia ($15) and Bordetella ($10) vaccinations in the parking lot until 1 p.m.

  • SASSASS continues its free summer concerts in Weho's . Guitarist and composer John Schnieder will perform his first solo concert, featuring four compositions written for a specially adapted steel guitar, at 5 p.m.
  • What's Wrong With Angry? continues its run at Celebration Theatre. The play was written at a time in British history when legislation prohibited schools and local authorities from depicting homosexual relationships as an acceptable view of family life. Tickets are $30.

The Forecast:

  • The National Weather Service predicts a mostly sunny Saturday. The high in West Hollywood will be near 85, dropping to a low around 63.
