An applicant is requesting to demolish a 16-unit apartment structure at 1350 N. Hayworth Ave. in order to construct a 17-unit condominium project with subterranean parking. The Zoning Ordinance requires that this request be reviewed by the Historic Preservation Commission, because the project is proposed on a property within public view of a designated cultural resource, according to the agenda. The Commission meets at 7 p.m. in .

Stonewall Democratic May Membership Meeting

The club meets at 7 p.m. in the  for a presentation by Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy (LAANE) regarding potential support motion on the "Destination LA" campaign to pass the LA Tourism Investment Act, a component of which is a living wage for hospitality workers in Los Angeles. Attendees can also learn how they can participate with Stonewall in the Pride/Christopher Street West parade and booth this June. 

Special Women's Advisory Board Meeting

Join the West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board for a special televised meeting from 7-9 p.m. in the Pacific Design Center. In commemoration of National Women’s Health Month, there will be special guest speakers and information on a variety of women’s health topics. Speakers include Captain Kelley Fraser, West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, Puja K. Mehta, MD., Women's Heart Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Serena Josel, Director of Public Affairs, Planned Parenthood, Los Angeles. The meeting will be televised on City Channel 10 on Tuesday, May 24 at 10 a.m. and Wednesday, May 25 at 8 p.m.
