Friday's Scoop: Royal Visit Means Heightened Security Around LA

Law enforcement officials are making it difficult for paparazzi to harass the royal couple during their three-day tour.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Friday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Royals Visit LA

Law enforcement from the U.S. State Department and the LAPD will be cracking down on the paparazzi this weekend, reported the LA Times. The Duke and Duchess will arrive in Los Angeles early Friday evening and head to the  hotel, staying overnight at the British Consul-General's residence in Hancock Park. The royal couple's entourage includes private security, plainclothes cops from the LAPD Elite Metro division, and CHP officers, said TMZ. Let's hope this doesn't affect traffic.

Other Happenings:
