Cut Your Commute, Win an Office from Regus

Flexible workspace provider Regus is hosting a contest across Los Angeles searching for the person with the worst commute. The prize? A free office for a year at one of Regus’ 70 centers across Southern California closer to their home.

The contest, hosted on Regus.com/LATraffic, launched Monday and runs for three weeks. Entrants will get to share their horror commutes through the website and on Twitter using the #LACommute hashtag.

It’s no surprise; Los Angeles is the #1 worst city for traffic in the U.S. According to the Texas Transportation Institute and Texas A&M. Nowhere else in the country do more people waste time on the road. To make matters worse, long commutes stall productivity and have been linked to poor health.

In 2013, Regus, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace, will double its presence in the LA-area to help people take back those valuable hours wasted on the highway. The centers in LA are strategically located throughout the area, across LA’s prime areas complete with business lounges, administrative staff support and virtual offices.

The contest winner will get these benefits from a Regus center closer to their home, allowing them to cut their commute almost entirely while maintaining a professional workplace away from the home.
