Sorry for the migraine ! I regret that you want every single parcel of open space in WeHo to beRead Moredev eloped. In my view, a tragic mistake !

I've lived in WEHO for 11 years now. In that time, it has been stripped of any bit of flavor itRead Moreonce had. All the development has very little architectural value. Concrete block and glass facades have eaten up every square inch of Melrose between LaCienega and San Vicente. Gone are the cute little shops that made our area feel so quaint and here to stay are the big box stores and out of reach designers. Our neighborhood homes are one by one getting knocked down and replaced with monster homes in the same boring style. The City Council does nothing to stop the over development and before long there will be nothing left but faded memories of what was once a beautiful peaceful place to live. The City Council members have no shame and their greed has ruined West Hollywood forever.

why is the guy who was struck by a car crossing the street at the santa monica blvd crosswalk (atRead Morepa lm) saturday night around 5pm not being reported???----this is the same crosswalk where 2 guys died last year and the city STILL hasn't done anything to improve this for the safety of its citizens and visitors----disgusting!!

its because we have whores in city council who will only do anything if they can make money off it. Read Morethe speed limit on east end of smb is 30 until la cieniga and then it jumps up to 35 which means people are doing 40. there are no cops to be found on the blvd. God only know where they are. I asked sal gurillo before he died why the don't put lights imbedded in the pavement like the city of santa monica and he said it would ruin the look of the blvd. abbe land concurred. we have a worthless city council and a deadbeat cop force and more idiots want to run for council. hoe many people have to die before they will do anything? city council doesny care
