Vigilante Reportedly Stabs Would-Be Robber at House of Blues

Someone rescues a victim getting beaten up in the club's restroom but could now face attempted murder charges, authorities say.

A would-be robber was stabbed at the House of Blues in West Hollywood early Monday morning and his accomplice was arrested, authorities said.

The incident at the entertainment venue at 8430 West Sunset Blvd. was reported at 12:15 a.m., said Lt. L. Haselrig of the Los Angeles County sheriff's West Hollywood Station. One man was taken into custody, she said. The other would-be robber was treated and booked.

The two were attempting to beat up a patron in a bathroom and take his belongings when a vigilante stabbed them, authorities said.
