Thursday's Scoop: Planning Commission to Consider Alcohol Sales At Weho Target

Also on the agenda is a proposal for four condominiums at 500 N. Orlando Ave.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Thursday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Planning Commission Meeting

Two public hearings stand out on tonight's agenda. The first is a tentative parcel map for a four-unit, multi-family residential development into four condominiums for the property located at 500 N. Orlando Ave. Next is Target's request to amend a conditional use permit to allow the sale of full alcohol for off-site consumption in addition to the existing sale of beer and wine at its 7100 Santa Monica Blvd. location. The Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at the West Hollywood Library.

The Forecast:

  • The National Weather Service forecasts sunny, with a high near 70. North northeast wind will be around 5 mph becoming west. It will be mostly clear in the evening, with a low around 52.
