Thursday at City Hall: Boards and Subcommittees

The Performing Arts and Cultural Affairs subcommittee of the Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission, the Design Review subcommittee of the Planning Commission and the Lesbian and Gay Advisory Board all meet today.

Several of West Hollywood’s boards and commissions meet today (Thursday, Sept. 13). The public is welcome to attend these meetings.

The Performing Arts and Cultural Affairs subcommittee of the Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission meets at 5 p.m. in . Items on the agenda include discussion of a resident company program for the city, review of the Summer/Winter Sounds concert series and review of several arts grant applications (one from AIDS Project Los Angeles, one from the Unity in Diversity Art Foundation).

The Design Review subcommittee of the Planning Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. in the . One item is on the agenda: review of a new 124,850 square-foot mixed-used project at 8555 Santa Monica Boulevard.

The Lesbian and Gay Advisory Board meets at 7 p.m. in . Items on the agenda include reports from various task forces, creation of a public space for lesbians in the Werle Building (626 Robertson Blvd) and a possible joint study session with the City Council.

The biweekly Rent Stabilization Commission meeting is canceled.
