POLL: Worst Intersection in Weho?

Weho is home to some of the worst traffic in the Los Angeles area. But what intersection in town is the worst? Cast your votes below, then tell us why in the comment section.

West Hollywood is a great place to live. We all know that. But this city is also home to horrible traffic.

During rush hour, Santa Monica Blvd. can move at the pace of a snail. Meanwhile at 6 p.m. on a weekday, Sunset Blvd resembles a parking lot more than it does a major thoroughfare.

Getting through certain intersections often takes the patience of a saint. Some days, it feels like you could read War and Peace before you get through some intersections.

This week’s Reader’s Choice Poll asks you to name the worst intersection in town.

Which intersection routinely takes four or five cycles of the light to get through? Which intersection do you go out of your way to avoid? Which one makes you want to pull your hair out when you’re trapped there?

We’ve limited the poll to intersections that fall within West Hollywood city limits, meaning that nearby intersections like Sunset and Crescent Heights or Melrose and Fairfax aren't included.

Voting ends at 5 p.m. on Friday. Your Patch editor will determine the winner based on a combination of poll results and the number and intensity of the reader comments. We’ll announce the winner Saturday morning.
