Man Found Dead at The Grove ID'd as West Hollywood Resident

Police said no foul play was suspected in the death of 50-year-old West Hollywood resident Paul David Beckett.

The man who police found dead at the The Grove Monday morning was today identified as 50-year-old West Hollywood resident Paul David Beckett.

Beckett's body was found by authorities behind a parking structure at Third and Fairfax at approximately 9 a.m., about an hour before the shopping center opens to the public.

Police said no foul play was believed to be involved and they indicated that Beckett leapt to this death from the roof a parking structure.

This is the second such incident to occur at The Grove within the last year. According to the Los Angeles Times, a 29-year-old man died in July after jumping from the roof of a seven-story parking structure.
