Beatles, Stones, Bowie and Pink Floyd; Rock Producer Tells All

If you turn on a classic rock station, you can’t get away from Ken Scott. One of the preeminent recording engineers and producers of the last 50 years, Scott was one of the five main producers who worked with The Beatles and served as co-producer for David Bowie’s “Ziggy Stardust.”

Scott also worked with the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Lou Reed, America, Kansas, Duran Duran, Devo and more.

Along the way, Scott earned multiple Grammy nominations and even a Clio award for his recording of the classic Coca-Cola ad, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing.”

Now, Scott is sharing his memories of working with those great recording artists in his new book, Abbey Road to Ziggy Stardust: Off-the-record with The Beatles, Bowie, Elton, and so much more.
