- Where/When: Fairfax Branch Library, 161 S. Gardner St., Los Angeles. Saturday at 10 a.m.
- Why Go: Come to the library’s book sale and browse through used books and other materials at great bargain prices. You can never have enough books in your collection.

5. Author Event with Meir Doron and Joseph Gelman
- Where/When: Book Soup, 8818 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood. Sunday at 4 p.m.
- Why Go: Authors Meir Doron and Joseph Gelman will discuss and sign their book, Confidential: The Life of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon Arnon Milchan, about the well-known movie producer who led a secret double life as an Israeli covert agent.
